Foot Massage Foot massage, also known as sole massage or reflexology, has been widely practiced by the Chinese in their reliance that every organ in the body corresponds to a singular point on the sole of the foot. Thus they feel that via foot massage, the nerve endings on the foot's sole will be stimulated and would then yield benefits for the malfunctioning organ. This is also the principle behind the strange-looking insoles with protruding dots which became a fad several years ago. A foot massage starts with a brief foot bath wherein the feet are settled in a small basin of warm water. Herbs or fragrances are then mixed into the soaking solution, both to make the skin softer and to relax the foot muscles. A clarification is then applied to the feet to lubricate them and make it easier for the masseur to accomplish the foot massage. He proceeds to apply various strokes and pressures to the various points on the soles, production the foot massage an unforgettable experience. It is believed that if a someone is in good health, then he should not feel any kind of pain when pressure is applied everywhere on the sole. How To Find Foot Massage - What it is and Why You Should Get One
Foot Massage Foot massage, or reflexology, is a spectacular, thing. And although I just used these terms interchangeably, they are not the same thing. Just as a quadrilateral can be a rectangle but a rectangle can't be a square, foot massage can mean reflexology but reflexology is not necessarily foot massage. Most population don't know it, but the feet are very sensitive. They consist of the same nerves as your genitals and are as sensitive as your lips and fingertips. That's why population who aren't used to foot massages often squirm- it's a lot of stimulation to a place that isn't used to being stimulated. But that sensitivity is also the suspect why massaging your feet can feel so great, too. After a day and a lifetime on your feet, it's nice to kick back and let them be prodded and kneaded. It can assuredly help ease the tension that builds up down there (in your feet, that is). Massaging the foot can mean just doing any kind of tissue manipulation down there, but the aim of reflexology is to stimulate other points or systems on the body through the foot. In reflexology, which originates from Chinese medicine, it is view that unavoidable areas of the foot are associated with unavoidable areas of the body- for instance, the town of the foot represents the kidneys, while the big toe represents the head. This "map of the body" on the foot from toes to heel roughly corresponds to the human body from head to toe. And what are the health benefits of reflexology? If you subscribe to the law that the body's ills can be treated through the feet, then it should be possible to treat any whole of conditions through reflexology/foot massage. In increasing to normal stress and fatigue, foot massage can very often ease headaches, help with digestive problems, enhance sleep, and even growth reproductive health. But you don't have to believe all this to benefit from a getting a treatment, and I can vouch for that. While the year I lived in Shanghai, I would get massages sometimes several times a week because they were so cheap (less than for an hour massage!). I became well acquainted with the post-massage feeling of well being. Ordinarily it felt like some sort of weight had been taken off. Even though I squirmed and laughed my way through my first foot massage, I learned to let go and treatments have subsequently have become very pleasurable as well as stress relieving. How To Find Foot Massage: A Foot Fetish?
Foot Massage Who doesn't like getting a massage? And, further, who doesn't enjoy a foot massage? Ok, maybe not every person since there is that handful with the inexplicable problem of disproportionately ticklish feet; but, barring that population, a massage for feet, I dare say, is probably even best than a back massage. This may be because feet are one of the most neglected parts of our bodies and ordinarily do not have the privilege of being caressed by the ever beloved hands. With regards to the inquire of foot massage being a fetish, I can offer this as an answer: Just because one may appreciate or like something, it does not warrant them a fetishist. The foot fetish is a much more involved and involved issue that can be dealt with only in its own terms. So massaging feet can most right on be a part of a foot fetishist's repertoire but, indulging in and enjoying your feet getting rubbed does not necessarily equate to having a fetish. Massages for feet fall in the category of caring or intimacy. They are for pleasure, pain relief and relaxation, and also, quite often, a form of foreplay or just good old ability time with your partner. Whatever can give or receive a foot massage without having a foot fetish. Foot massages do not even need a second party to materialize with all the fancy gadgets and gizmos ready on the market. Foot spas are a great way to get a foot massage in the comfort of your own business doing Whatever you love to do whether that means reading, writing, knitting or indulging in a good movie. Now, when it comes to the relation between a foot fetish and a foot massage, the unlikeness comes in when the massage incites arousal. The foot fetishist wants and needs the foot massage (or to give one) to gratify their obsession with feet. There are varying degrees of obsession which range from a mere admiration for feet all the way up to compulsiveness, which can be a big problem. Also, as much as foot massage is enjoyable, the fetishist will often come to be sexually aroused in the midst of a massage and most times when they give it. So that's the key really, sexual arousal. A massage is only part of the game for the foot fetishist but it can play a great part in their sexual escapades. In fact, if you know Whatever with a foot fetish, offer them a opening to massage your feet and revel at the reaction. They will probably end up begging you to let them give you a foot massage and as long as you are comfortable sufficient with that person, revel even more at the earnest concentration and mesmerized hypnotism in the activity. So you still want to know if a massage equals a fetish? plainly put, the rejoinder is no. A massage is a massage. Massaging feet to a foot fetishist however, is blissful. They want and need it and most importantly, get extremely sexually aroused at the anticipation and operation of one. Massaging feet can be a great way to spice things up if foot fetish fever is in your blood. But, if you're not a foot fetishist, don't let that put you off foot massages, it's just separate strokes for separate folks. How to Do a Foot Massage0 comments Sunday, May 12, 2013

Foot Massage For those out there who think a neck or body massage is the best way to soothe an aching and tired body, they should try a foot massage. Once in a while, we need to pamper our feet like we pamper our bodies. You can ask a friend to give you a foot massage, or even give one to a friend. To begin, you need to clean your feet. To do this, you can soak your feet in Epsom salts, lavender or peppermint for about ten minutes. After this, you should dry them wholly and pay attentiveness to the area in between your toes. As the feet dry, you can apply a soothing oil or lotion. To begin your foot massage, the masseuse will take one foot and massage the top of the foot using their thumbs. They should start with slow firm stroking motions working their way from the toes to your ankles. When they get close to the ankles, they should ensue the same path back to the toes. The strokes should be slow and firm, with less pressure on the toes. This should be repeated about five times. Next they cup the heel of your foot. With the free hand, the masseuse needs to rotate the foot gently, first in an anticlockwise motion, then clockwise. This should be repeated about four times. It helps relax and de-stress aching feet and ankle joints. The next area to work on is the soles of the feet. This starts at the base of the big toe, working their way to the other toes and then to the balls of your feet. One should be truthful when doing the massage, because you don't want to leave there with a foot injury. The massage should be gentle but firm. A good foot massage can really concentrate ideas from reflexology system any way it can be quite different, and needs no specialised knowledge. In fact it can be much simpler and yet yield a far greater immediate outcome in that it can quickly allow the receiver to feel comforted, soothed, and like they're walking away with a brand new pair of feet. A pair of strong hands is a great start. Then grab some towels and some massage oil. If it's a 'quickie' foot massage, sorbolene cream will do a great job, it's an exceptional emollient and cheap to buy too, but it does suck in quickly into the skin so if you're giving a longer massage for the feet stick with oil. Now have the receiver wash their feet, or you can do it for them if you are comfortable to do so and willing to pamper them beyond the call of duty. Washing the feet will make the receiver feel more at ease and make you feel more comfortable while giving a foot massage. If you want make a habit out of it, you can get a foot massage spa or foot massage bath and let them soak in luxury before the session begins. Although this custom of massage dates back as far as the Egyptians, Mayans and even Native Americans, it wasn't until 1917 that Dr. Fitzgerald gave credibility to reflexology. But if you would like some help with some of the basic techniques, then here are some steps you can result to help someone relax, relieve stress or even pain. Have the someone soak in a foot bath for about ten minutes. You want to be sure their feet are truly clean before you start. Set the mood with some soft music and maybe some candles. Have the someone lay down with their feet just over the edge of the bed. Place a rolled towel or pillow under each knee. Get yourself a chair or stool so you can be relaxed too. Note: You will do one foot at a time. 1. Wash your hands with soap and water and then apply massage oil. Start at the top of the foot near the toes, thumbs on the lowest and remaining fingers on the top. Make smooth upward motions towards the leg. Repeat this appeal 3 to 5 times. 2. Place your hands on each side of the foot beginning near the heel. (The next appeal you make will be similar to washing your own hands where you rub your hands together as if you want to make friction). moderately and moderately rub the sides of the feet (your hands are appealing in the opposite direction) and work your way up towards the toes. Go all the way up and then back down again in a smooth continuous motion. Do this 3 to 5 times. 3. Now the toes. Start at the base of the big toe, moderately apply pressure at the lowest and moderately squeeze in an upward appeal until you reach the top of the toe. Repeat 3 to 5 times and do that on each toe. 4. If the someone is not too ticklish then you can run your finger in the middle of each toe. Do this 3 to 5 times. 5. You are now with your thumb going to put pressure on the lowest of your feet. Right under the big toe is the round fleshy part. Just underneath that is the beginning of the instep. Apply pressure, not too hard, and make tiny circles. Move downward towards the heel in that continuous circular motion. Then move back up. Do this 3 to 5 times. 6. Now do the opposite side of the lowest of the foot exactly the same. 7. Now you can massage the fleshy part right under the toes and the do the same with the heel. 8. You are now going to move away from the lowest of the foot and place you thumbs on both sides of the soft fleshy part in the middle of the ankle bone and the heel. In tiny circular appeal massage in a circle nearby the entire ankle bone. Do this 3 to 5 times. This is the 'reflex point' that stimulates the male and female libido. 9.
